In Vranov u Brna stands a pilgrimage church, a guardian of silence and hope. Anyone who enters it feels surrounded by the prayers of generations. The story of this place is linked to the apparition of —the moment when heaven turned its face toward the earth and reminded people that they are not forgotten.
Hearts Guided by the Minims
The Minims
, Friars of St. Francis of Paola, care for this place in the spirit of Charitaswith a love that is evident in every word and deed. Their lives are a quiet testimony that service is not a duty, but a great joy. They see a brother or sister in every pilgrim and throw open the doors to themselves and to God—unconditionally, without haste, simply with an open heart.
An oasis amid the noise of the world
We live in a time when it’s easy to hear so much and yet learn nothing of vital importance. The Spiritual Center is an oasis where one can slow down, take a breath, and hear one’s own inner voice again. In the silence of the monastery corridors, in the shade of the trees, and in the radiance of the altar, one learns to listen again. And this stillness then leads to great insight. The world is a wonderful place. Thanks to love and thanks to God.
A Journey for Everyone
It doesn’t matter whether you come here with faith as solid as a rock or with questions to which you don’t know the answers. The center always welcomes all visitors with equal warmth. Some find the courage here to take an important step in life, while others experience a brief moment of peace, but all the experiences gained here are unique and equally precious.
The Light You Take With You
Leaving means taking more than just a memory with you. It’s the feeling that heaven is closer than we thought, and that the path we’re walking has meaning. And the light we carry home with us will brighten even our darkest days. The spiritual center in Vranov u Brna certainly has healing powers. It can heal our weary and aching souls.
